A member of the House of Representatives Hon. Mohammed Sanda Ngamdu has commended the present administration under President Muhammadu Buhari on the ongoing efforts to rid the north east of the Boko Haram insurgency.
Hon. Ngamdu who represents Kaga/Magumeri/Gubio Federal constituency told newsmen in his office that the President's promise to rid the region of the nefarious activities of the insurgents is beginning to see the light of the day.
He wondered how the once peaceful north east region degenerated to the level of violence that pervaded the region blaming successive governments for the insurgency that enveloped the region. " It is so sad how a once peaceful region like ours degenerated to violence. This is as a result of the nonchalance of the previous administrations. It is good that the present administration has taken the bull by the horn which is why we are experiencing peace today. God willing we will never go back to the inglorious past again" Hon. Ngamdu stated.
He said Nigerians must learn to be patient with the government because it is still too early to judge the performance of the government.
Hon. Ngamdu said the anti corruption war is ongoing and will help rid the country of corrupt tendencies which has ravaged the country.
